dear Radio27.com

Scott Nolan ( www.scottnolan.ca)  with drummer Joanna Miller will be in Alberta for a short but sweet tour this June.

Scott is bringing with him to Alberta , for Adam's first appearance ever in Alberta , the great Texas  singer/songwriter , Adam Carroll ( www.adamcarroll.com)
Scott has recently placed second in the reknowned International Songwriting Competition ( Americana category) for his wonderful song " Bad Liver /Broken Heart". There were thousands of entries for this competition.
    Mark your calendars:
Thurs June 26/08 The new Bar Named Sue in Fernie,  BC (note this is in Fernie not Calgary)
Fri and Sat June 27 and 28/08  The Auditorium Hotel in Nanton , Alberta
Sun June 29/08 , afternoon concert, 4 PM , The Stop, Black Diamond , Alberta ($15/person). If it is warm it could be on the deck. Children are welcome at the Stop.
This is a rare treat. These 2 fabulous singer/songwriters and amazing musicians meld beautifully and Joanna plays her unique and quintessential percussion and sings harmony vocals. This will be a set of " one of a kind shows"!!!
Get your tickets for The Stop show soon as there is limited seating in this excellent and acoustically marvelous venue close to Calgary.  Call Kate at The Stop at 933-3002 for ticket info.
Yours for great and truly original live music,
   Suzanne

Give them a listen  .... you might have a show for them .....

Hi rad27, how is everything? I don't know if u have heard about it, we are coming to play Vancouver Folk Music Fest this coming July. Being very happy to return we still are looking for options to play maybe a show in Alberta, remembering the great time we had at South Country Fair. Maybe u have a suggestion who I can contact concerning a possible Dubblestandart show in Alberta.

Hope to touch base this summer.

Till then enjoy a great spring....
